At the end of the blessed month of Ramadan and in celebration of Eid Al-Fitr, the Moasat Association in Saida offers its warmest wishes for the citizens of Saida and hopes that the coming days will bring good to Lebanon and its people.
Every year around the month of Ramadan, the Association has been providing aid to needy families in Saida and the neighborhood. This year, it provided 1,000 food rations. 1567 vouchers were distributed from the “Muhammad Zaidan Association for Development in Saida” and the “Samidoun” campaign launched by NewTV. In addition to that, 2000 purchasing vouchers issued by the municipality of Saida and in cooperation with a number of civil societies in the city as part of the campaign "Saida Facing Corona" in different areas of the Saida region, and 238 purchasing vouchers were also issued by the municipality of Saida as part of the campaign "Saida Does Good"; moreover, 170 diapers and milk rations were distributed for children provided by the "Rotary Club". Throughout the month of Ramadan, 116 hot meals were prepared daily as part of "Fasting Break" Project, and milk and cheese were distributed throughout the month by Mr. Mohamed Zaidan.
The association launched "Toot Toot to Beirut" project, in order to deliver frozen foods and hot meals produced by the Moasat Kitchen to customers in Beirut and based on their requests.
During the current crisis and due to the spread of the Coronavirus, the Moasat Tailoring Factory produced 51,000 protective medical masks that were distributed, free of charge, to health centers and governmental hospitals in various Lebanese regions with the support of "ANERA Lebanon".
The Moasat Association donated 25 garments and ready-made gowns produced by the Moasat Tailoring Factory to Dar Al-Salam Hospital of the SEAMOSQ Charitable Society, with a donation from the High Relief Commission.

On the occasion of the Eid, 450 people benefited from new outfits including clothes and shoes, and 100 children received gifts.
