Saida — 26 December 2025. Al Moasat Association in Saida organized a specialized lecture titled “Introduction to the Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence,” delivered by trainer and researcher Khodr Badia, at the Ahmed & Jamila Al-Bizri building, as part of the Association’s efforts to keep pace with rapid scientific and technological developments.

The lecture was attended by the Association’s President Mrs. Rola Ansari, members of the administrative board and general assembly, in addition to the lecturer’s family and several cultural and social figures.

The event opened with the Lebanese National Anthem, followed by a welcoming speech by the Association’s Secretary Mrs. Zeina Al-Hassan Al-Bizri, who introduced the speaker and highlighted his academic and professional background.

In her remarks, Mrs. Ansari emphasized the importance of integrating AI concepts into public awareness and community knowledge, noting that understanding these technologies has become an urgent necessity amid ongoing digital transformation across various sectors.

During the session, Mr. Badia reviewed the history and evolution of artificial intelligence and explained its fundamental concepts and working mechanisms in a clear and simplified scientific approach. He also discussed the opportunities AI tools offer, their limitations, and the importance of applying them critically and responsibly.

The lecture concluded with an interactive discussion focusing on practical and responsible ways to benefit from AI tools in education, administration, and professional environments.

It is worth noting that Khodr Badia’s research focuses on using advanced analytics and AI tools to support strategic decision-making, with practical experience in developing AI-based solutions and products.
