Saida — 23 February 2026. As part of supporting cultural and educational activities that highlight the history of Saida and the role of its longstanding institutions in national progress, students from Sidon Technical Institute / Al Moasat visited the Permanent Exhibition on the History of Saida and Al Maqassed, which also includes the exhibition “Lebanon and Its Stamps” by Dr. Shafiq Taleb, at the Aisha Umm Al-Mu’minin Cultural Center in Old Saida, under the supervision of the administrative and teaching staff.

The visit came within the Institute’s commitment to connecting students with the history of their city and introducing them to important milestones in its cultural and social heritage, thereby strengthening their sense of belonging and broadening their understanding of the role of leading institutions in serving society.

The exhibition also provided students with an opportunity to explore historical milestones, documents, and displays that reflect the cultural and national memory of Saida and Lebanon, in an experience that combined learning, reflection, and direct engagement with heritage.

Such initiatives reaffirm the commitment of Al Moasat Association and Sidon Technical Institute to deepening students’ historical and cultural awareness, based on the belief that education extends beyond academics to include identity, character-building, and belonging.
