As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting the educational process and expanding learning opportunities for all, Al Moasat Association in Saida launched an academic support program for public school students in partnership with War Child.

The program aims to support students in core subjects and help them improve their academic level in a supportive and safe learning environment. Around 200 students from public schools benefited from the first phase, receiving remedial lessons and educational follow-up supervised by a specialized team, along with psychosocial support and awareness sessions for caregivers.

In this context, the Association’s Director, Ms. Ghaidaa Al-Dirzi, toured the classrooms allocated to the program, meeting students and teachers and seeing first-hand how the educational process is going and how students are engaging with the activities. She stressed that the program is in line with the Association’s vision of empowering students academically and psychologically, praising War Child as a key partner in supporting children and motivating them to continue their education despite the challenges.

The program also includes complementary psychosocial support activities to build students’ confidence and raise their educational level in a comprehensive way. Registration for the second phase continues at Al Moasat’s headquarters in Saida.
