As part of joint cooperation between Al Moasat Association and the international organizations supporting development projects in Saida and its surroundings, the Association received a delegation from Anera on a follow-up visit to monitor progress on the Eid clothing production project at Al Moasat’s sewing workshop, supported by UNICEF.
The visit aimed to review the stages of implementation in terms of production quality and to interact with the trainees taking part. During the tour, the Association’s President, Mrs. Rola Shamaa Ansari, praised the team’s efforts and the trainees’ commitment, stressing the importance of such projects in turning challenges into real opportunities for production and giving. The Director, Ms. Ghaidaa Al-Dirzi, expressed her appreciation for a project that gives trainees a chance to learn and grow while providing tangible support to beneficiary children and families.
The sewing course is producing 1,000 sets of Eid clothing for children and youth, within the “Empowering, Educating and Employing Youth in Lebanon” project, which focuses on building vocational skills and creating economic opportunities for young people amid difficult living conditions.
At the end of the visit, the delegation praised the quality of the production and commended the efforts of the Association and its partners in empowering youth and strengthening community solidarity.
