Al Moasat participated in the launch of the global campaign in the arab  region on good treatment for girls, boys and adolescents with disabilities in the world" held at the UN-ESCWA headquarters in Beirut, organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Commissions for Western Asia in cooperation with the Chilean embassy in BEIRUT, UNICEF and the office of the high commissioners for human rights.

The campaign was launched by the Special Envoy of the Secretary - General of the United Nations, Chair of the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, Prof. Maria Soledad Cisternas Reyes, who presented the10 principles for the protection of children with disabilities. Minister of Social Affairs Richard Kouyoumdjian, under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Secretary of ESCWA, Dr. Rola Dashti, and Ambassador of Chile Marta Shalhoub participated in the launch of the campaign.
